First feijoada

Whenever we find a Brazilian restaurant we love to order feijoada, which is pretty much the national dish. It's a delicious slow-cooked black-bean and pork stew. Jacob also makes a very delicious feijoada at home.
Today we went to Cafe Brazil in Cambridge where they serve feijoada on the weekends. The above photo is from the street where we parked. Isn't Cambridge lovely? As you can see from the first photo in the post, Gavin enjoyed his first feijoada experience. And in the below photo you can see that he made sensible use of his time and read a book while we waited for the food.

Yum! I'm definitely going to have to look up a recipe for this. Sounds too good to pass up. What a cutie he is, too! I miss visiting with you; hope you are all well and happy.
