For my birthday Jacob gifted me a ski day, so we went to SnoZone, an indoor ski facility (because England has no outdoor skiing options). We were also happy to take advantage of my Mom being here to hang out with Gavin (which she was overjoyed to do--I think she would keep him if she could).
Skiing indoors wasn't quite the same as in the mountains, but we might be skiing in the alps next month, so it was good practice.

If I'd had skis, I could've gone skiing in NW Arkansas last week!! WE had 20 to 24 inches of the perfect white powder!! Lots of folks did get out their cross-country skis though. It was about the only way to get around!!!
